Meet the members of the Mud Springs Gospel Band.

 
George Klos
Banjo, Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals
George is the music teacher at Madras Elementary and Madras High School. An accomplished musician, songwriter and performer, George keeps the band "on track" with his knowledge of music theory and bluegrass history. He is also a piano teacher, piano tuner, and owner-operator of Klos Studios.
Don Mobley
Stand-up Bass, Vocals
Don is the operator of the Madras Airport. A former Navy pilot, Don is the FAA Pilot Examiner for Central Oregon, a flight instructor, and corporate pilot for Norton Cattle Co. and Les Schwab Tires. Don plays the low notes and sings the high notes, keeping the band driving with his rock solid beat.
 
Darrell Glaspie
Mandolin, Guitar, Vocals
Darrell is a department manager at Safeway in Madras. He has been involved in gospel music for many years as a songwriter and performer. His talent for song-writing has blessed both the band and countless audience members.
 
Alan Smoke
Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin, Jaw Harp
Alan is a software engineer who lives on his grandfather's ranch in Lone Pine. The newest member of the group, he rounds out the band's bluegrass sound with his rich fiddle playing.
